If you want to enjoy a long walk through the city, nothing beats the High Line, a 1.45-mile elevated linear park and greenway built on a former rail trail along the west side of Manhattan. It stretches from 34th to Gansevoort St. and winds through some of NYC’s most iconic neighborhoods.
Today, if you’re hoping to visit the city’s most popular sites (like the Empire State Building, the 9/11 Memorial, or the Statue of Liberty), be sure to secure your tickets online well in advance.
