JANUARY 10-17, 2022

Find out more about our response to Covid-19 HERE.

Our journey to our 2022 Caribbean Cruise begins in:

The Vacayans are hard at work planning each and every detail of our premiere Caribbean cruise. And of course, we’re super excited to share many of those details with you along the way. As we have new information to share, you’ll find it here.

We’ll also house an email archive on this page, too. This archive will feature all the trip-specific communications we have with you throughout your pre-cruise experience with us. That way, if you happen to lose a general email somewhere along the way, you’ll be able to find it right here.

And from party themes and entertainment previews to those incredibly valuable cruise line booking numbers, VACAYA’s mission is to give you everything you need with plenty of time to ensure a totally stress-free experience. Get ready for your vacaya!

We’re now just 30 DAYS from our time together on Millennium and as promised, it’s time to discuss vaccinations, Covid testing, and safety protocols. So grab a drink, settle in, and read on…

All sailings departing the USA are subject to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). As such, both VACAYA and Celebrity Cruises require all guests to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with all initial doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. Guests with a mixed series of any two of the following vaccines taken within a minimum of 28 days between doses, will also be considered fully vaccinated: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sinopharm, or Covaxin.

COVID-19 Booster shots are not required to sail, but if it’s been more than 6 months since your last inoculation, we recommend getting boosted prior to the cruise. And as you’ve probably heard over the past several days, Pfizer’s Booster appears to handle the Omicron variant quite well, and the variant itself seems to be the milder form of the virus we’ve all been waiting for as the possible bridge to endemicity. Still lots to learn, but good news all around.

We recognize there are a million and one individual circumstances regarding vaccinations. Ultimately, Celebrity is the final arbiter. So if you have questions about your particular situation, please contact Celebrity directly at 877.200.2897. If you’re given a direction that’s outside of the basic policies, we highly recommend you get that in writing (with follow-up contact details) in order to better navigate the multiple checkpoints at the terminal. The margin for error here is almost nil, so be sure to button up each and every requirement.

NOTE: Once you upload your Vaccination Card to the Celebrity App as part of check in, know that it won’t be validated until 1 week prior to our cruise. Once validated, a green check mark will appear next to the Vaccination section of the check-in checklist.

A negative test result is required of all guests to board the ship. Many cruisers have already found testing in and around Fort Lauderdale (or in their hometowns) for their required pre-cruise test. If you have, by all means, stick to your plan. Just know that the test needs to be conducted no earlier than Saturday, Jan 8. You can take either an antigen or PCR test. While most guests are likely to take their test on Saturday or Sunday, there’s also the option of getting a qualified rapid test on Monday morning (assuming you can get the written results back before you board the ship later in the day), but waiting until Monday is not a highly recommended strategy since results could be delayed. As a reminder, all aboard on Monday, Jan 10 is 3:30pm and we set sail at 4pm sharp.

For those who haven’t yet scheduled their test, we’ve partnered with in Wilton Manors to provide a no-cost option for your pre-cruise testing. You can schedule your test online with them. They also accept walk-ins, but it’s always better to schedule an actual appointment time. If you test in the morning with Test Tent, you’ll get results back the same day. If you test with Test Tent in the afternoon, you’ll get results back the next morning.

For Test Tent appointments, you’ll need to bring your insurance card with you to your appointment. The cost of the test is covered by most insurance plans. If you don’t have insurance or if your insurance doesn’t cover the cost of the test, the tests conducted by Test Tent are also covered by the CARES Act, so there’s no out-of-pocket expense for anyone using their services.

Once Test Tent appointments have been exhausted, there are also other testing sites around Fort Lauderdale. Celebrity has provided a list of sites HERE.

For guests booked at our official pre-cruise hotel (Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Downtown), you will be tested on-site on Sunday morning. We’ll provide a booking link to schedule your appointment shortly.

In addition, there are a couple at-home testing options, as well:

Monitored Self-Test Kit – Abbott BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag Card:
Approved Self-Test Kits are available for order pre-cruise. Complete your pre-cruise test kit at home or any place of your choosing with the help of live video supervision by a Certified Guide. Your results will be ready in 15 minutes. ORDER HERE

Concierge Testing Service:
In partnership with Bio-reference, a concierge testing option is also available. Bio-reference will send a qualified medical technician to your home, office, hotel, or any place you choose to perform the test. Your results will be ready in about 48 hours, so this option would only be an early Saturday morning option. RESERVE HERE

Within 24 hours of our sailing, you will upload your negative test results to the Celebrity App. Simply follow the in-app instructions to upload your results. In addition, this is also when you’ll complete your compulsory pre-boarding Health Questionnaire. If you’re facing technical issues with the app in those last moments, no worries. Just bring a written or electronic copy of your results with you to the pier and have them ready to show at the first checkpoint.

Important Note: Guests arriving at the terminal without a negative COVID-19 test result will be denied boarding. So please don’t do that.

We recommend everyone keep a low social profile after the holidays. That will certainly help mitigate the risks of exposure. Although we’re all vaccinated, breakthrough cases still happen. If you test positive the weekend before our sailing, you will be unable to sail. And unfortunately, Celebrity isn’t offering any type of refund for charter cruises – not to you or to us. So that brings us to the topic of travel insurance…

We’ve obviously provided non-stop advice regarding purchasing travel insurance and, as you know, we offered the opportunity to purchase a policy through our partner Travel Guard at the end of your cruise purchase. Assuming you’ve purchased travel insurance, your policy likely covers you for trip interruption, but you’ll want to confirm the specifics prior to sailing. For those without travel insurance, there are companies out there who will still write a policy to cover such instances, but as with all insurance, you must secure that coverage prior to the actual moment of need. So again… we encourage everyone to protect their investment with coverage. In general, Cancel For Any Reason policies can only be purchased within 14 days of booking a trip, but general trip interruption insurance can be purchased at any time prior to the trip.

Important Note: Because we’re not licensed insurance brokers, The Vacayans are not allowed to talk policy specifics with you. It’s against the law. So please reach out to your carrier for specific questions.

US citizens are not required to show a negative test result for their onward US-based air travel after the cruise. Citizens from countries other than the US who require a negative Covid test result prior to their flight home have the option to receive a complimentary PCR test onboard prior to disembarkation. Proof of return travel scheduled within 24 hours of disembarkation will be required. You will schedule this test through Guest Services once onboard.

With everyone vaccinated and tested just prior to boarding, on the surface this cruise will look more “normal” than not. Masks are only required in the following areas:

  • In the terminal while going through security and check in
  • In all VACAYA performance venues: Celebrity Theater, Rendezvous Lounge, Sky Lounge

The only way to bring you the caliber of talent we’ve secured for this cruise was for us to follow the vaccination and masking guidelines currently being instituted by Broadway theaters. We trust that everyone will follow this protocol without issue. It’s important to understand that there’ll be no negotiating on the policy; it’s black and white. While you can certainly take your mask down for a moment to take a sip of your drink, we ask that you replace it between sips. All of The Vacayans and the stars we’ve aligned for this incredible journey appreciate your cooperation inside the performance spaces.

That being said, if it’ll make you feel more comfortable wearing your mask around the ship at all times, feel free. No one will judge you for doing so and no doubt many will be thankful.

If you’d like to dive deeper into all the protocols that are happening behind the scenes, we’ve posted Celebrity’s safety protocols in this section HERE.

As we’ve said so many times, it’s important for everyone to recognize that while we’re going to create a fairly normal experience onboard, nothing is normal behind the scenes.

The companies that have managed to survive this global disruption are working feverishly to implement myriad new cleanliness and safety protocols with the same sized (or less) staff as before the pandemic. So we ask everyone to muster every bit of patience, flexibility, and grace you can as we get closer to this cruise.

Then onboard, please remember… KINDNESS IS EVERYTHING. Every Vacayan and Celebrity crew member will be there to help you navigate the experience, but there may be times when we don’t know all the answers or perhaps something you request takes a little longer than it might have in the past. In those cases and in true VACAYA spirit, we’ll put our heads together, craft a plan, corral the resources, and get it done. So we thank you in advance for your patience in those situations.
As we get ever closer to our time together, our most frequent updates come via the cruise’s Official Facebook Group, where you’ve undoubtedly been watching our Entertainment Preview (which will continue daily through Christmas). And of course you should keep a close eye on this page until we set sail, as well.

In the nearly 50-year history of lesbian and gay cruising, no US-based charter company serving the LGBT+ community other than the matriarch and patriarch of the industry has sold out a big-ship cruise. VACAYA’s 2022 Caribbean Cruise is the first, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have you with us for this HISTORY-MAKING sailing.
Now, let’s make this THE BEST CRUISE EVER! We’ve all earned a fabulous time!

VACAYA has been called a “Game Changer.” Well here’s a great reason why… CELEBRITY’S UNLIMITED BEVERAGE PACKAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON THIS CRUISE! Once online registration opens shortly before the cruise, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase one of the myriad unlimited Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic Beverage Packages directly from Celebrity.

At VACAYA we’re all about demystifying the charter cruise experience and one of the first myths we’d like to bust is that it’s not possible to offer drink packages on charter cruises. Let’s be clear… unlimited alcoholic drink packages are difficult to pull off on charter cruises because if they’re offered, everyone onboard is typically required to purchase one. However, working with the fabulous Celebrity team, we’ve come up with a plan to allow you to enjoy the packages usually unavailable on big-ship charter cruises.

The biggest concern with offering unlimited packages has always been that charter cruises are simply different than standard cruises. Charter cruises like those produced by VACAYA are all about bringing people together, with cruisers making many new friends along the way. And based on the industry’s experience, package abuse – where guests with an unlimited package “buy” drinks for guests who don’t have a package – is a real concern. It’s theft. So it’s been easier to simply eliminate the possibility of theft than to deal with the real-world consequences of those abusive actions.

But here at VACAYA, we kept asking ourselves, “Are our guests the type of people who’d walk into a convenience store and put a few beers in their pocket and walk out without paying? Or go to a restaurant and leave without paying their bill?” No matter how we asked the question, the answer for us was always “no.”

We trust you not to abuse the system. Not to steal. And it’s that level of trust, combined with Celebrity’s state-of-the-art monitoring, that will hopefully allow this to become a standard part of all future VACAYA vacations. But now it’s up to you to ensure that all guests play by the rules in regard to these new package offerings.

The Fine Print
  • Packages can be purchased directly from Celebrity after receiving your Celebrity Booking Number from VACAYA just before the cruise.
  • All occupants of a single stateroom are required to purchase a beverage package. For roommates where one person drinks and the other does not, the non-drinker is required to purchase the equivalent non-alcoholic package, e.g. Premium and Premium, or Classic and Classic. There is an exception for STEP participants, who may book any package, regardless of their roommate’s selection (or lack there of).
  • Packages may not be shared, and do not include beverages sold in gift shops, mini-bar (unless part of your specific package), or room service (meaning you can’t order a vodka soda to be delivered to your room).
  • All listed prices on Celebrity’s site are in USD and are subject to change without notice.
  • A 20% service charge will be added to Soda, Wine, Water, Classic, and Premium Package prices when purchased.
  • Packages are sold on a per cruise basis, and not on a per day or any other basis.
  • Purchased packages may be modified up to four days prior to sailing by canceling and reordering the package.
  • Cancellations or refunds will not be issued onboard the vessel after embarkation day.
  • Availability of beverage packages varies by ship.
  • You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase any alcoholic package and to consume alcohol.
  • The security systems employed – both point-of-sale and CCTV – will alert Celebrity of any abuses.
  • The triggers that will immediately raise the red flag of potential abuse with Celebrity include:
    • Ordering drinks in rapid succession at the same bar
    • Ordering drinks from different bars within the same area over a short period of time (for example, a drink at the Pool Bar, then 5 minutes later a drink at a satellite bar)
    • Each night, each guest’s consumption is reviewed. Any abnormalities will result in further investigation, including, but not limited to a review of video surveillance footage.
  • If caught abusing the system by “buying” drinks for others, the offender will immediately lose their Unlimited Beverage Package and no refund will be offered.
  • Other terms and conditions apply.

*Promotional offers on Celebrity’s preview page (e.g., Casino Promo Chips, etc.) are not available on charter events.

VACAYA will offer a clothing optional space onboard where sun lovers can sunbathe in the nude. It will be on both the Port and Starboard sides of Deck 11 Aft directly under the X smokestack. The area starts at the mid-ship elevators and goes to the aft wall. When moving outside of these areas, please put your swimsuit back on. There won’t be beverage service in this area, but the nearest bars – Sunset Bar on Deck 10 Aft and the Mast Bar on Deck 11 Mid – are not far away. The clothing optional sun deck is ONLY available on Sea Days. While in all of our ports, swimsuits are required on the upper decks.

And obviously… we ask that cameras not be used in this area.

US Dollars are accepted in all ports of call.

Celebrity Millennium offers myriad included dining options – Metropolitan Restaurant, Oceanview Café, Spa Café, Mast Grill, snacks at Café al Bacio, and Room Service (complimentary from 6am-10:59pm).

Specialty Dining options (with a service fee) include Qsine, Sushi on 5, and Tuscan Grill.

Dedicated dining for Suite Guests is available at Luminae and for AquaClass Guests at Blu.

US Citizens are encouraged to travel with a valid Passport, although a valid Driver License and Original Birth Certificate (with a raised seal) will suffice.

Non-US Citizens are required to have a valid Passport.

Visas are not required for US Citizens, but may be required of other nationalities. You can check the visa requirements HERE.

Guests from countries that require a visa MUST obtain a valid visa before leaving home. Laws do not allow a guest who requires a visa to board the ship without required visa(s). SPECIAL NOTE: Even if you’re told you won’t need a visa if you plan to stay on the ship, this is NOT TRUE. If a visa is required of your nationality, you MUST have a visa even if you plan to stay on the ship.

United States Permanent Residents who possess an Alien Registration Card (Green Card) do NOT require a visa.

These travel documentation requirements are government regulations and policies. They are subject to change without notice. It is the sole responsibility of each guest to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available when necessary. These appropriate valid travel documents (such as passports and visas) are required for boarding, entry into other countries, and reentry into the United States.

We strongly recommend that all guests travel with a passport that’s valid for at least six (6) months beyond the end of their cruise. This greatly assists guests who may need to fly out of the United States to meet their ship at the next available port should they miss their scheduled embarkation in a U.S. port; guests entering the U.S. at the end of their cruise; and guests needing to fly to the U.S. before their cruise ends, because of medical, family, personal, or business emergencies, missing a ship’s departure from a port of call, involuntary disembarkation from a ship due to misconduct, or other reasons.

The name on your VACAYA reservation must match the name on your passport or other identification documents.

Guests who do not possess the proper documentation may be prevented from boarding the ship.

Unfortunately, no refunds will be given to individuals who are denied boarding due to improper documentation.

Part of the fun of any cruise – but especially an LGBT+ cruise – is decorating your stateroom door to give it a bit of pizzazz and to show your personality. You’re welcome to decorate it as you see fit, keeping the following guidelines in mind:

  • Electrical components are not allowed (including those which are battery powered)
  • No pornographic images
  • Decor cannot restrict or interfere with passage through the hallway
  • Do not use any materials that could damage or mar the surface of the door, its frame, or the hallway. Any costs involved with fixing damage caused by your decor will be charged to your onboard account.

Standard Stateroom Doors are 6′ 6.5″ tall by 2’4″ wide.

Most Suite Doors are 6′ 6.5″ tall by 3′ wide.

All stateroom doors are metal. Magnets make for a great way to affix decor items.

DAY: With warm temps, shorts and T-shirts will be your best bet while in port.

NIGHT: VACAYA’s dress code is “Evening Chic” – smart and stylish. But what does that actually mean?

Dress pants/designer jeans, collared shirts, cocktail dresses, and skirts with a nice top fit the bill perfectly.

We never want to limit your creative freedom as far as dress is concerned, so know that there are no hard and fast rules in regard to what’s acceptable and what’s not. But here are some specific recommendations that will help you decide what’s most appropriate for Millennium’s elegant and casual dining spaces throughout the evening:

  • Tank Tops in the Metropolitan Restaurant for dinner aren’t the best choice. Let’s be real… only a few of us (and we applaud you fetishists) would want to see a hairy armpit while enjoying filet mignon and lobster.
  • Dress Shorts are ok in Metropolitan Restaurant for dinner. Swimsuits are not.
  • Dress Sandals are ok in all restaurants for dinner. Flip-flops? Not so much.
  • If you’d like to keep your dress super casual for dinner, Oceanview Café provides a perfect dining choice. And flip-flops are a-ok around the clock in Oceanview.
  • Shorts and T-shirts are discouraged in the elevated dining experiences of Luminae, Blu, Qsine, and Tuscan Grille.

PARTIES: Our theme parties will provide you with endless opportunities to show off your style with imaginative costumes. Just keep in mind that your penis and balls, gentlemen, and your vagina, ladies, have to be covered. But by all means don’t be afraid of the exciting world of sheer fabrics… we love them! Because Oceanview Café will be open late into the night (and we know you’re going to want a burger at 2:30am), we ask that if you’re wearing a costume that exposes your butt cheeks, that you wrap a towel around yourself while dining. Towels will be available at the entrance of the café.

We’re delighted to provide you with a preview of the fabulous entertainment we’ve lined up for this cruise. We’ll be adding new talent to this list through Christmas.

Please note that the schedule is subject to change slightly as we get closer to sailing. Ultimately, the daily program onboard Millennium – Celebrity Today – will contain each day’s complete schedule of activities and entertainment. You’ll receive the following day’s Celebrity Today in your stateroom each night at turndown.

THE SKIVVIES are LAUREN MOLINA and NICK CEARLEY, singers/actors/musicians performing stripped down arrangements of eclectic covers and eccentric originals. Not only is the music stripped down – cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica, but The Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform.

The Wall Street Journal calls them “smart, sophisticated…ingenious,” and Out Magazine says, “The Skivvies have managed to carve out a niche that we never knew needed to exist: part Weird Al-parody and part sexy burlesque…an unusual explosion of satire and sultry.” People Magazine named The Skivvies “The Most Playful Performers” in The Most Talked about Bodies issue and Sports Illustrated named them “Favorite New Band.” The New York Times calls them “a hot musical comedy duo specializing in unexpected arrangements, incongruous mashups, and of course, highly toned displays of skin.” They were also nominated for a MAC award for show of the year.

Lauren (Broadway’s ROCK OF AGES, SWEENEY TODD, Mary Zimmerman’s CANDIDE – Helen Hayes Award, MARRY ME A LITTLE) and Nick (Broadway/First National ALL SHOOK UP, PAGEANT, BUYER & CELLAR) met in 2003 performing in Theatreworks USA’s national tour of the JUST SO STORIES. Quickly becoming best friends and musical collaborators, they began performing together in the city, with clothes on. The Skivvies were born in 2012, when they became YouTube sensations with their unique covers of artists like Robyn, Carole King, and Rihanna. The videos led to live shows, and now this “musically thrilling,” undie-rock, comedy-pop duo continues to perform to sold-out audiences in New York and beyond. And now they’re making their VACAYA big-ship debut, and we couldn’t be happier to have them with us!

Get to know The Skivvies @ and enjoy them in Sky Lounge on Tuesday and Saturday night.

DJ, Remixer, & Producer WHITNEY DAY has built a signature sound from her influences of house, disco, and electronic music. The trifecta of early training in classical music, coming-of-age in New York City nightclubs, and working in recording studios while in high school and college, naturally evolved into a career in DJing and music production for her. With an instinct for reading-the-crowd, and an ability to artfully mix genre-blending sets, Whitney has spent over a decade lighting up dance floors around the globe. Her talents have taken her across the United States and to cities as far as Tokyo, Ibiza, Montreal, Stockholm, Sydney, Vienna, and beyond, fulfilling her other passion: travel.

Whitney’s infectious passion for mixing music and performing on-the-fly sets has spread from underground Brooklyn warehouses to European music festivals. Her fresh and energetic vibe has led her to share the stage with acclaimed DJs and artists such as Honey Dijon, LCD Soundsystem, Crystal Waters, Peaches, Jennifer Cardini, Bebe Rexha, Moby, JD Samson, Cece Penniston, and Lil Kim, to name a few. Her production skills have landed her remixes for artists such as Daya, MILCK, and Starley. Off-the-decks as an Event Creator, Whitney has produced some of the largest events for queer women and the LGBTQ+ community at world-renowned venues such as Marquee, House of Yes, Cielo, Magic Hour, Good Room, and LeBain.

After an incredible debut on our 2019 Inaugural Cruise, we are absolutely THRILLED to have her back with us at VACAYA! Take a spin with Whitney @

His later work with top American promoters expanded his reach into Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Provincetown, and Palm Springs. Internationally, Corey has been a regular in Sydney and Melbourne during the New Years and Mardi Gras season. His travels have also taken him to Whistler Gay Ski Week, Vancouver Pride, Edmonton, Toronto, and Amsterdam. His current stateside residencies include The Eagle NYC and the infamous D World Underwear Party in Fire Island.

Corey lists his musical influences as Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Honey Dijon, Freemasons, Moto Blanco, Gorgon City, Disclosure, Todd Terry, MK, CamelPhat, and tastemaking labels like Defected, Toolroom, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, and Glitterbox.  These influences and labels have helped him curate and design a podcast series showcasing upfront House, Techno, Disco and Bass sounds. Currently, Corey is partnering with Bobby Duron as “Haus of Oz” for sexy tech house remixes. Upcoming original production work paired with established remixes and celebrated underground bootlegs for Lady Gaga, Russell Small, Genesis, Donna Summer, and others position “Coreyography” for further dominance in the next age of dance music and beyond.

MICHAEL ORLAND is the grand poobah of music for VACAYA, serving as Musical Director for Erich Bergen, Marilu Henner, RILEY, and Susie Mosher. He began his impressive musical career in his hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts at the tender age of three, when he escorted each member of his family, one by one, to see MARY POPPINS and then sat down at the piano and played the songs by ear. Since this auspicious beginning, he’s become one of the most acclaimed musical directors on the concert, theater, television, and nightclub scene.

Michael was part of the mega-hit TV show AMERICAN IDOL for 16 seasons as the Pianist, Arranger, Vocal Coach, and Associate Musical Director both on FOX and ABC. In between those seasons were stints as Music Director/Vocal Coach on LITTLE BIG SHOTS and FOREVER YOUNG, both hosted by Steve Harvey. Through these amazing opportunities, Michael has appeared on OPRAH, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, and a record number of appearances on THE ELLEN SHOW. At the end of every IDOL season, Michael has also accompanied the top 3 contestants to New York for appearances on LIVE WITH KELLY & REGIS (and MICHAEL and RYAN), CBS’ EARLY  SHOW, and concerts on the plaza for NBC’s THE TODAY SHOW.

The number of credits on Michael’s resume makes even him blush. He’s as good as it gets in the entertainment industry and all of us at VACAYA are so lucky to have the opportunity to bask in the incredible brilliance of his genius. We love you, Michael!

Leading the incredible 10-ring circus that is VACAYA is one of the brightest talents and ringmasters in all of Las Vegas, the incredible CHRISTOPHER KENNEY! Christopher, and his alter ego EDIE, will take the reins as VACAYA Cruise Director on Millennium.

Christopher got his start in the ballet and danced with 5 professional ballet companies before moving to New York to pursue his dream of being on Broadway. That dream came true in 2006 when he was cast as Molly in the Tony-nominated revival of THE THREEPENNY OPERA, starring Alan Cumming and Cyndi Lauper at Studio 54. But it was the creation of his drag persona Edie that really propelled Christopher to fame. With legs that go on for daaaaays, Edie went on to star as Mistress of Sensuality for more than a decade in Cirque’s highly-acclaimed production of ZUMANITY at New York-New York Las Vegas. Now, Christopher/Edie join VACAYA’s all-star entertainment line-up, with Christopher leading the way once again – perfectly rounding out (and corralling) our galaxy of stars.

Welcome to The Vacayans, Christopher!

Millennium will be docked at Port Everglades’ Terminal 25. Details about getting to Port Everglades can be found HERE.

100% of your prepaid gratuities go to onboard staffers, including your stateroom attendant, the culinary services staff, the behind-the-scenes hotel services staff, and the myriad department heads who work with their teams around the clock to create a flawless VACAYA experience for you.

A Note About Additional Tipping: As a community, we are extremely generous. We eagerly recognize outstanding individual service with a few extra dollars here and there. Of course, no extra monetary recognition is ever required, but when you take the time to say “thank you” and offer that 3am room service attendant or your favorite bartender a couple dollars, know that it’s always immensely appreciated by the crew members you recognize.

2 Devices – $375
3 Devices – $498
4 Devices – $623

Prices and available packages are subject to change.

Our Itinerary can be found HERE.

As with all cruises, please note that our itinerary is subject to change with or without notice due to sea conditions.

If your luggage doesn’t arrive with you at the airport, be sure to file a claim with your airline and make sure they understand you’re getting on a cruise ship. It’s also wise to provide them with a copy of your itinerary. You’ll also want to put them in direct contact with Celebrity’s One Touch Hospitality team, which will help immensely in getting your bags to our ever-moving ship.

One Touch Hospitality handles Lost Luggage issues for Celebrity and can be reached at 1.844.418.6824, ext. 48844. Their hours of operation are 8am-8pm EST, 7 days a week. Their email address is

When you arrive at Port Everglades, you will hand off your luggage to the porters at the taxi drop-off. Before handing off your bags, be sure each bag is properly tagged to your stateroom. When you check in online in advance of the cruise, you’ll be able to print luggage tags then. We recommend waiting to arrive in Fort Lauderdale BEFORE placing those tags on your luggage. This will help ensure they don’t get ripped off during your flights.

It usually takes between 4-6 hours from the moment you hand over your luggage to the pier-side porters until the bags arrive to your stateroom. If your luggage hasn’t arrived by 8pm, reach out to Guest Relations on Deck 3 mid-ship. They will do their best to track down your bags. Usually, the reason for a piece of luggage not making its way to your room is that the identifying tag was ripped off at some point in the transfer from pier to ship. These untagged bags are placed in corral awaiting identification.

A Note to STEP Participants: If a piece of luggage ends up in your stateroom and it doesn’t belong to you or your new roommate, be sure to contact Guest Relations to let them know you have someone else’s bag in your room. No doubt, someone has been frantically looking for it and because you thought it was your roommate’s and your roommate thought it was yours, stray bags will sometimes sit there in your room for days before they’re identified as someone else’s luggage. By turning it in early, you will win the love and admiration of a fellow traveler.

Basic medical services are available onboard. The Millennium’s Medical Center is located on the Port Side of Deck 1 and is open 8-11am and 4-8pm daily. 24-hour emergency services are also available.

VACAYA recommends that you consult with your primary physician before sailing if you’re experiencing any serious or chronic medical issues. The Millennium’s medical team can provide basic services for illnesses/injuries that may occur onboard. They are also able to diagnose and  stabilize most emergency situations. If you require emergency services that can only be provided by a shore-side facility, transfers can be arranged. Please note, however, that while Millennium is sailing, transfers may be affected by weather or other logistical considerations.

Quarantines: The health and safety of guests and crew is of paramount importance. And on rare occasions, Millennium’s medical team may decide that your condition requires you to be quarantined to your room. This is most common when highly contagious gastrointestinal illnesses like Norovirus are diagnosed. We’ve all heard the stories of hundreds of cruise passengers falling ill with stomach issues like Norovirus and the like. Based on Center for Disease Control guidelines, quarantine is the medical team’s best defense in stopping the spread of viruses such as this. If you’re quarantined, we will do our very best to make you as comfortable as possible for the duration of your quarantine.

VACAYA is all about connections. And we’ll host different professional and interest group meetups throughout the week, giving you the chance to come together with others who share like interests. We’ll also host twice-daily 12-step meetings. It’s time to make some new friends!

To connect with other cruisers prior to the trip, we encourage you to join our Official Facebook Group for the trip. You can do that HERE.

This is also where we post smaller news about the trip that doesn’t necessarily warrant an email to everyone.

Celebrity’s Healthy at Sea protocols can be found HERE.

Celebrity has provided a great FAQ page, as well. You can access those FAQs HERE.

At VACAYA, we’ll do our very best to serve both cruisers who smoke and those who don’t. The following areas are designated as SMOKING areas onboard Celebrity Millennium:

  • Deck 11 – Port Side next to Mast Bar
  • Deck 10 – Sunset Bar – Port Side Aft
  • Deck 4 – Open Deck Port Side – Midship going forward

Cigars can only be smoked in the designated area at the Sunset Bar. And Vape Pens can be used in ALL designated smoking areas.

Smoking inside staterooms (including on verandas) and non-designated public areas is prohibited.

Do you have a special need in regard to mobility, stateroom accommodations (for example, needing a shower stool), dietary restrictions, or medical equipment being brought onboard (for example, a CPAP machine and you’re in need of distilled water)?

If so, Celebrity has an entire department to handle these types of special requests. To begin the process, simply click on the Big Pink Button below and download and complete their Guest Special Needs Form. From there, just follow the instructions and send to Celebrity asks that these requests be completed at least 30 days in advance of the sailing. While requests can certainly be sent in after that date, there’s no guarantee Celebrity will be able to accommodate it, but they will do their very best.

Assuming protocols allow, the Red Light District will be back. If you’re new to the Red Light District, no worries… we’ll fill you in onboard.

All guests are required to be vaccinated, of course, but Celebrity has just updated their policy in regard to which vaccinations/mix of vaccinations are acceptable for boarding.

Based on the CDC’s October 18, 2021 update, effective immediately, any mix of the following vaccines is acceptable – as long as you’ve had two shots, with the second administered at least 14 days prior to boarding:

  • Pfizer
  • Moderna
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • AstraZeneca
  • Sinovac
  • Sinopharm

This is especially great news for our Canadian guests, many of whom received a mix of vaccines.
